Well what better time to start a blog than now, when The Cupcake Box has just been approved as a 'Credible and Incredible Wedding Supplier' as listed on Ice the Cake. January 2012 has proven to be a good start to the year. The main website has been cleaned up, matching business cards have been ordered and there are quite a few large orders already in the diary.
For one such order I was given a colour scheme to work to, peach and cream. I personally feel that this is such a lovely combination for a wedding, light and fresh. Well, I challenge you all to look for a supplier who sells peach cupcake cases. It is impossible!
However, one evening whilst I was frantically searching on the internet for these peach cupcake cases, as I did not want to let the bride-to-be down, I came across a wonderful home-based business called Buttercups based in Bury, who specialise in making cupcake wrappers that are both handcrafted and bespoke. As it happens another design option was decided for this particular bride-to-be but I am so glad that I found Buttercups! I look forward to working with both them and their products in the near future, watch this space.
So on that note perhaps the title this blog entry would be better stated as "The future is wrappers, the future is cupcake wrappers!"
